If you've been told surgery is your only option, there may be an alternative. Our Clinical Directors offer non-surgical spinal decompression — a clinically studied approach with published success rates of approximately 86% in qualified candidates.*

Chronic back pain, sciatica, and herniated discs don't just hurt — they steal your life. Traditional approaches haven't provided the relief you need and maybe surgery has been suggested as the next step. There may be another way.
Suitability assessed individually. A full consultation is required before beginning any treatment plan.
Non-surgical spinal decompression therapy works by gently creating negative pressure within the disc — which may help draw herniated material back toward center, reduce nerve compression, and allow oxygen, water, and nutrients back into the damaged disc.
Computer-controlled equipment with FDA clearance and Health Canada approval — backed by peer-reviewed clinical research and trusted by clinicians worldwide.

These patients share their personal experiences with non-surgical spinal decompression. Individual results vary.
Patient testimonials are shared with consent. Results described may not be typical of all patients. Individual outcomes vary based on health status, condition severity, and treatment response.
The Disc Care Clinic was founded by registered Chiropractors in Ontario, committed to ethical, evidence-informed chiropractic care. Every patient receives a thorough evaluation and a treatment plan built specifically for their condition.
Focused care from practitioners utilizing clinical protocols designed to manage disc-related conditions without the need for invasive surgery.
While both therapies involve a “pulling” force to relieve pressure, they differ significantly in their technology and clinical intent:
Spinal Traction: A generalized, continuous pull, often used to stretch tight muscles and mobilize joints. Because the pull is steady, the body’s natural “guarding reflex” (muscle spasms) can sometimes kick in to resist the stretch.
Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression: Uses computer-controlled technology to bypass that muscle guarding reflex. The table applies tension in cycles of pulling and relaxing using a “logarithmic curve.” This creates a specific negative intradiscal pressure (a vacuum effect), which helps promote the movement of oxygen, nutrients, and fluids back into the disc to support the body’s natural healing process.
Book your consultation today. Our clinical team will review your case and tell you honestly whether you may be a candidate for spinal decompression.
No obligation. No pressure. Just honest answers.
